A polyester webbing sling (also called a flat sling, belt sling, or web sling) is a lightweight, high-strength lifting sling made from woven 100% polyester webbing. It is the most widely used lifting sling type in Singapore's construction, marine, offshore, and manufacturing industries — valued for its flexibility, load protection, and resistance to corrosion and moisture.
FRT supplies standard and custom polyester webbing slings for single-leg, multi-leg, and endless (grommet) configurations. All slings are colour-coded to EN1492-1, clearly labelled with WLL, ply, length, and serial number. Available in 1-ply to 4-ply construction. Custom widths, lengths, and eye configurations to order -typically within 1–3 working days.

Polyester Webbing Sling WLL & Colour Code Chart — EN1492-1 Standard
FRT manufactures polyester webbing slings in four standard configurations, each suited to different load shapes and lifting requirements:

Single-Leg (Type 1) - One sling with flat eyes at each end. The standard configuration for straightforward vertical and angled lifts. Available 1T to 60T.

Two-Leg Bridle (Type 2) - Two sling legs attached to a common masterlink. Suitable for loads with two lift points. WLL varies with leg angle — see the colour-code table above.

Four-Leg Bridle (Type 4) - Four sling legs on a masterlink for loads with four lift points, such as precast concrete panels, structural steelwork, and machinery skids.

Endless / Grommet (Type 3) - A continuous loop with no eyes. Used in choker and basket hitches. Provides maximum contact area and minimises surface damage.
